We have begun negotiations with UA administration for our first collective bargaining agreement (CBA) that will determine our working conditions including compensation, benefits, workplace rights, and more. Our ability to win a contract that reflects our core needs depends on being united and involved as UA staff. The more UA staff that participate in the bargaining process, the better positioned we are collectively to negotiate for a contract that will serve all of us effectively.

Initial bargaining demands represent our main priorities when negotiating. You can view the drafted initial bargaining demands here. We are planning a series of town halls to further discuss our initial bargaining demands and begin the vote for approval. The more of us voting to ratify these demands, the more unity and power we can demonstrate to the university as we begin negotiations. The vote on the initial bargaining demands will begin on July 7th and go through July 14th.
